Beyonce Giselle Knowles has born on 4th September, 1981 in Houston, Texas. She is a Pop, R&B and soul singer, composer, producer, actress and dancer.
She began her career at the age of 7 when she started in a child music group. The group was composed by her, Latavia Roberson, her cousin, Kelly Rowland and LeToya Luckett. They started when they were young, doing local events but they break the group. Their style was Hip Hop/ R&B during the 90's. After that they got their formal name: Destiny's Child, and so they started doing tours and opening acts for groups like SWV, Dru Hill and Immature.
They released them album in 1998 and Beyonce was the the one who was working out most of the lyrics and sound for the new group. She was the main singer in the group. Beyonce was responsible for most of the lyrics for hit songs, NO, NO, NO, BILLS, BILLS, BILLS and many of their other top 10 hits.
In March of 2000 LeToya and Latavia left Destiny's Child because Beyonce and Matthew Knowles, her father and their producer, were causing them stress and weren’t giving them the freedom to develop as artists on their own and to make other producers know them. Two replacements were Michelle Williams and Farrah Franklin.
Her sexy first single, "Crazy In Love," featuring Jay-Z, was co-produced by Beyonce and Rich Harrison. Jay-Z returned for Beyonce's part on his hit "Bonnie and Clyde 03." The song wich is also sexy is the dancehall-Arabic "Baby Boy," featuring Sean Paul. She has two more features currently in production and can also be seen on the small screen in a series of Spike Lee-directed commercials for Pepsi-Cola. She is also the spokesperson of L'Oreal.
Actually, she has a relationship with the hip-hop-rap singer Shawn Corey Carter (Jay-Z), born on 4th December 1969 in Brooklyn, New York.
She has appeared in the films:
In 2001, she has appeared at “Carmen” in the role of Carmen Brown, in 2002 at “Austin Powers” in the role of Cleopatra, in 2003 at “The Fighting Temptations” in the role of Lilly, in 2004 at “Fade to Black” performing herself, in 2006 at “ The Pink Panther” in the role of Xania, and at “Dreamgirls” in the role of Deena Jones.
